Glow necklaces and glow bracelets have been used widely at American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life events. They are sold for fundraising by teams across the nation. One relay team recently arranged a “Glow Stick it to Cancer” walk/run event in a school stadium. Participants held glow bracelets and jogged or walked together around the track of the stadium. The event took place after dark and one could see the whole track lighted up in yellow glowing light, which symbolized hope and support. It was a quite successful relay event.
Glow products are used in charity fundraising events. Glow bracelets and glow necklaces are sold or given away to participant to light up events at night. These glow in the dark products help cheering people up and for bulk quantities, they are very affordable and great accessories for events with large number of participants.
Summer is here and there will be many parties, fairs and festivals during nighttime. And products such as glow necklaces, glow glasses etc, are a big hit during summer night parties. There are many opportunities to vend them for fundraising. Vending them in big fair and events may require a team. Glow bracelets and necklaces are hot merchandise for vending. For teenagers to want to make some pocket money, selling glow bracelets and glow necklaces during football games is a good idea and parents may support them by getting the glow supplies. Glow sticks in particular colors are big hit for events with theme colors. In the Yonkers 2010 St. Patrick's Day parade, vendors walked in the crowd and hawked green glow sticks and other Iris merchandise. The glow in the dark party items are also popular in the Iris pubs for St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
